Bogdan Stefanović
Bogdan Stefanović was born in Jagodina in 1993. After completion of the third grade of the Secondary art school in Niš and having his first solo exhibition, he enrolled in the Faculty of Arts in Niš, at the Department of Painting. At the end of the first year of study, he received award for the best drawing at the Faculty. During the third year, he began to take an interest in video works and other media in arts, resulting in first video entitled “Life”, which was presented at exhibitions in Belgrade and Lisbon. In September 2014, he participated in the art colony “River of Tolerance” in Samokov, Bulgaria. In the first semester of the fourth year, he explores, through paintings, different opinions and approaches to art, placing professors and students in a conflict. Since 2015, he is studying quantum physics, which offers new and very different approaches to art, after which the “Intangible” media became the main topics of the research. At the end of the study, as an alumnus in the class of prof. Katarina Đorđević, once again he won the award for the best drawing at the Faculty. Currently, Bogdan is attending master studies at the Arts Academy in Novi Sad, in the class of prof. Stevan Kojić.
He is the winner of European Digital Art and Science Network Award in national selection.
