Dematerijalizacija umetnosti

Nonofficial translation:
DeMaterialization of art is a space for criticism, analysis and reflection on contemporary art theory and practice. The name of the portal refers to acting which is "dematerialized" in terms of "non-interest" and through a socially emancipatory approach to the field of art, but "materialized" in terms of the ineparability of material socioeconomic processes and political changes. In that sense, the purpose of the portal is to, in a local context, give support to tendencies that critically assess the dominant neoliberal discourse in culture and art.

It’s one of those almost invisible infrastructures that we start to notice only once they go extinct. A place where all people can get access to all knowledge that can be collected seemed for a long time a dream beyond reach — dependent on the limited resources of rich patrons or unstable budgets of (welfare) states.
